FAO names Egypt’s Rizk as council chair

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has elected Egypt’s Mina Rizk as chair of its Executive Council — making him the first Egyptian and the youngest person ever to hold the position, a Cabinet statement said on Sunday.
