Egypt’s minister of agriculture will be meeting today with United Nations’ FAO officials so as to tackle means of mutual cooperation and plans to bolster the food security in the country.
Egypt’s newly-appointed Agriculture Minister Ahmed El-Gizawy is expected within the few coming hours to meet with Moujahed Achouri – Deputy Regional Representative for the Near East, and FAO Representative in Egypt; and with Abdessalam OULD AHMED – the Assistant Director General and Regional Representative, Regional Office for the Near East.
FAO will review the Egyptian ministry’s plans as regards to boost the mutual cooperation with the purpose of achieving the country’s food security within the upcoming phase, Mr. Achouri told Amwal Al Ghad.
