Fawry Egypt Delays Expanding in UAE Market to 2014-End

Fawry Electronic Bill Service seeks postponing expanding in UAE market by the end of the current year instead of the current time.

The new model which will be adopted by Fawry in UAE is different in compared to Egypt’s model and this leads to the postponement, Eng. Ashraf Sabry CEO said.

The new model of UAE will focus on boosting technology and the complicated services rejecting to disclose the number of targeted points, Sabry noted.

Fawry obtained US$6 million throughout the International Finance Corporation (IFC)  in the mid of the last year.

The number of Fawry’s payment points reached 45.000 points across republic.
