Federal Reserve maintains interest rates

The US Federal Reserve on Wednesday July 30, 2025, decided to maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 4-1/4 to 4-1/2 per cent. 

The central bank attributed the move to low umemployment, solid labour market conditions, high inflation rates and uncertainty about the economic outlook remains elevated.
