Finance Minister allocates additional EGP500m funds for salaries

Egypt’s Minister of Finance has authorised an additional 500 million Egyptian pounds in funding for state workers in provinces, as per a Cabinet statement released on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the state general treasury will shoulder approximately 3.5 billion pounds to bolster salaries for employees in these funds and special accounts throughout the current fiscal year.
