This week, March 25-30, a delegation from the Freedom and Justice Party began an official visit to the United Kingdom, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the Egyptian and British people, to encourage foreign investments, and to boost European tourism to Egypt.
The delegation, which includes Dr. Amr Darrag, Secretary General in Giza, Fatema AbouZeid, member of the foreign relations committee and elected member of the Constituent Assembly drafting the constitution, and Gehad Elhaddad, lead consultant for the renaissance project, is scheduled to speak at the House of Parliament, major media outlets, think tanks, as well as meetings with local business community. The delegation will also meet with members of the Egyptian community in the UK, and representatives from the Egyptian embassy to discuss current domestic affairs of concern to citizens living abroad, according to Noodls.com.
