FM praises Egyptian professionals at UN during New York meeting

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty met with Egyptians working at the United Nations in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

Abdel-Atty expressed pride in the role played by Egyptian professionals across UN agencies, saying their contributions reflect the strength and competence of Egyptian human capital.

He underscored Egypt’s efforts to expand its international presence by supporting national talent in multilateral organisations, describing them as an integral part of the country’s soft power and image abroad.

The minister urged Egyptians at the UN to continue upholding professionalism consistent with Egypt’s reputation and with the principles and objectives of the international system.
