The net inflows of foreign direct investments to Egypt reached US$ 2.1 billion in FY 2011/2012, down from US$ 2.2 billion in FY 2010/2011.
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the income of sold companies and production assets for non-residents reached US$ 1.7 billion in the last fiscal year, up from US$ 19.2 million a year earlier.
The net outflows of investments in petroleum sector reached US$ 1.8 billion in the same period, up from US$ 191.3 million in FY 2010/2011.
