The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Amr, received today both of the Somalia Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy to Sierra Leonean Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the ministerial meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC); preparing for the summit hosted by Cairo. The meetings discussed developing the bilateral relations with two countries.
It also tackled the states on the African arena and if the OIC can contribute to reaching political settlements for the different crises that continent is suffering, and how to utilize the capabilities that Africa has for the interest of the African people.
Amr also received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh, and discussed how to achieve the joint aims of the countries members in OIC, and also how to give the prime priorities to the issues concern the Islamic world. The meeting took up how to bolster the bilateral relations in the commercial and cultural fields besides other cooperation fields with Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.
The Egyptian minister received the Gambian Minister of Minister and discussed the ways of enhancing the bilateral cooperation and developing contractual frameworks between the two countries.
