French Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (Alexandria branch) will hold a forum on Thursday about “the French support for investments in Egypt’s public and private sectors”, at the French institute in Alexandria.
In a statement issued today by the French embassy in Cairo, it was elaborated that the forum will be held in cooperation with the French consulate in Alexandria. It aims at reviewing the activities of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) for the key investors in the Egyptian economic field, as well reviewing the tools that the agency has for supporting the private sector.
The statement referred that the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) is a specialized financial institution that support the economic and social projects in both public and private sectors. The agency has participated in financing the third line of the underground in Cairo, as well implementing the biggest station in African for treating sewage.
