French President Francois Hollande is to visit Egypt in April, Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry Tarek Qabil announced Tuesday.
Speaking to state news agency MENA during his visit to Paris, Qabil also revealed that an official French delegation would visit Egypt in the first quarter of 2016 to prepare for Hollande’s visit to Cairo.
During his trip the Egyptian minister met with Emmanuel Macron, France’s minister of economy and digital industry and Matthias Fekl, the minister of state for foreign trade, the promotion of tourism and French nationals abroad.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi also visited Paris earlier this week for the UN climate conference, and while there he met with Hollande.
