Matthew Perry, who rose to fame on the sitcom Friends, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Saturday. The death was confirmed by Capt. Scot Williams of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide division.
The 54-year-old actor has found dead in an apparent drowning in his Jacuzzi as a Los Angeles fire department spokesperson confirmed first responders were called to Perry’s home in Pacific Palisades about a “water emergency”.
Perry’s career in television spanned nearly four decades, with his earliest credit in 1979, when he was a young child in an episode of the cop show “240-Robert,” according to IMDb.
