The annual Furnex and Home Exhibition will kick off on Thursday and last till November 25, said the Egyptian Furniture Export Council (EFEC).
The exhibition, organized by EFEC and the Chamber of Wood Working and Furniture Industries (CWWFI), will be held at Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Center in Cairo’s Nasr City.
The furniture council revealed that a cooperation protocol will be signed on the sidelines of the exhibition by the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), EFEC and CWWFI.
The exhibition will be attended by IMC Executive Director Ahmed Taha, CWWFI chairman Ahmed Helmi and EFEC chairman Ihab Deryas.
Furnex and The Home is a specialized trade fair serving as a major platform and market place for both trade and public to source quality products for all home and business needs for furniture, furnishings, finishing and accessories.
The exhibition hosts the top manufacturers, exporters and traders in Egypt serving both the domestic market, as well as the regional and international markets.
It features the latest trends and design ideas in the entire continent.
Described as the largest trade fair in Africa in terms of size, number of exhibitors and visitors, it utilizes a gross space of 50,000 square meters over nine halls in both Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Center and Cairo Stadium in Nasr City.
