Gama Construction executes two textile factories in Al-Rubiky, Al-Mahalla El-Kubra
Rubiky is a major industrial castle that brings back the glory of the Egyptian textile industry
Gama Construction is announcing the completion of one textile factory in Rubiky industrial complex in the 10th of Ramadan City.
Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated yesterday the first stage of the new industrial complex including the factory carried out by Gama on a total area of 24988 square meters and with a production capacity of 9 tons per day. The Rubiky industrial city project is under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
The new Rubiky Textile Complex comes within the state’s strategy to enhance and reform the textile sector with the aim of maximizing the added value of Egyptian cotton and bringing it back to global competition.
In this context, Ihab Demian – Managing Director of Gama Construction said, “We are pleased with our active participation in the execution of one of the textile factories which brings to mind the glory of the Egyptian spinning and weaving industry which has gained international fame for extended years”. Demian added “Gama’s diverse experiences have qualified us to be partners in the execution of many Egyptian national projects in the past couple of years”.
It is worth noting that Gama Construction is currently executing the “Misr Spinning and Weaving” Factory in Al Mahalla Al-Kubra, which is the largest spinning facility in the world built on an area of about 62500 square meters and accommodates more than 182 thousand spinners with an average production capacity of 30 tons of spinning / day.
