Egypt’s state-owned Ganoub El-Wadi Petroleum Holding Co. (Ganope) is planning to reach daily production rates of 35.000 barrels of crude oil within 2015, said the company’s head Abu Bakr Ibrahim.
Ganope produces 33.000 barrels of crude oil per day.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad on Wednesday, the Egyptian official referred that exploration process would start early 2015 in 6 new oil wells belonged to British Dana Petroleum, UAE’s Dragon Oil and Vigo Petroleum.
