General Motors Egypt announced Wednesday signing a new alliance agreement with MCV Group to manufacture several mini buses to be exported to some African markets.
The alliance will enable General Motors Egypt to carry out plans to open up new export markets in Ghana, Vietnam, and South Africa, the company added in a statement.
General Motors Egypt further said that it has recently exported parts of bumpers and fender-benders of pickup trucks to Vietnam alongside some chassis to South Africa.
According to the agreement, General Motors Egypt will cooperate with MCV Group to manufacture and export mini bus fleet for public transport to Ghana within the third quarter of the current financial year.
