General Motors Egypt mulls new industrial projects – ministry statement

Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir has met on Tuesday with a delegation from General Motors Egypt (GME) to discuss new industrial opportunities in the country, the ministry reported.

They also discussed the company’s current projects and plans for further growth in the country.

GME representatives emphasised their commitment to the Egyptian market, highlighting its importance as a key player in the Middle East and Africa. The company is studying a number of new industrial projects in Egypt to cater local demand and export overseas, the representations said, as per the ministry’s statement.
