Germany’s inflation rises to 2.6% in Dec.
Germany’s annual inflation rate rose to 2.6 per cent in December 2024 from 2.2 per cent in the previous month, according to preliminary data from the federal statistics office Destatis released on Monday.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices were 0.4 per cent higher.
Germany’s annual harmonised inflation rate recorded 2.9 per cent. Harmonised consumer prices grew 0.7 per cent month over month.
