Germany’s inflation slips to 1.6% in September ’24

Germany’s national inflation dropped to 1.6 per cent in September 2024, down from 1.9 per cent in August, according to provisional data.

Core inflation decreased by 0.1 per cent, falling to 2.7 per cent from 2.8 per cent in August, while EU-harmonised inflation declined to 1.8 per cent from 2 per cent in the previous month.
