Global coronavirus deaths pass 101,000, cases climb past 1.6 million

More than 101,000 global coronavirus deaths and at least 1.6 million known infections have now been reported, according to data collected by The New York Times,

At least 177 countries have confirmed cases linked to the virus. The most recent was war-torn Yemen, which announced its first coronavirus case on Friday.
