Gold market sees midweek boost in spot, futures

Spot gold prices increased on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 12:20 pm GMT by 0.82 per cent to $3,890.01 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,858.47 per ounce.

Meanwhile, US gold futures reached 1.07 per cent to $3,914.60 per ounce, up from Tuesday’s closing price of $3,873.2.
