Gold prices diverge as spot gains

Spot gold prices increased on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:45 pm GMT by 0.16 per cent to $3,665.72 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,660.04 per ounce.

Meanwhile, US gold futures dropped 0.49 per cent to $3,699.45 per ounce, down from Wednesday’s closing price of $3,717.8.
