Gold prices edge higher amid US tariff uncertainty

Gold prices increased slightly on Tuesday due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding the upcoming reciprocal US tariffs and their potential effects on the global economy.

As of 10:30 PM GMT, spot gold edged up 0.32 per cent to $3,021.81 per ounce, higher than its previous close of $3,012.28. Meanwhile, US gold futures fell 0.36 per cent to $3,054.96 per ounce, down from Tuesday’s closing price of $3,044.
