Gold prices end July with modest gains

Spot gold prices inched up on Thursday at 12:21 pm GMT by 0.92 per cent to $3,304.92 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,275.04.

Meanwhile, US gold futures rose 0.13 per cent to $3,357.20 per ounce, up from Wednesday’s closing price of $3,352.8.
