Gold prices in Egypt rose on Monday, tracking gains in international bullion markets, according to official data.
By 16:44 p.m. Cairo time (14:44 GMT), the price of 24-carat gold had climbed 97.25 Egyptian pounds, or 1.38 per cent, to 7,131.5 pounds per gram, up from 7,034.25 pounds at the close on Sunday, 18 January.
Prices for other gold grades posted similar gains.
