Gold prices in Egypt climbed on Tuesday, mirroring gains in international bullion markets, official data showed.
By 17:00 p.m. local time (15:00 p.m. GMT), the price of 24-carat gold had risen 40 Egyptian pounds, or 0.59 per cent, to 6,851.5 EGP per gram, up from 6,811.5 EGP at the close on Monday, January 5.
