Gold prices in Egypt dropped on Thursday, aligning with movements in international bullion markets, according to official pricing data.
By 15:42 p.m. Cairo time (13:42 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 7,960 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 137.50 pounds, or 1.86 per cent, from 8,000 pounds on Wednesday, 25 Feb.
Other gold grades posted similar drops.
