Gold prices in Egypt inched higher on Thursday, tracking international bullion movements, official data showed.
By 14:57 p.m. Cairo time (12:57 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 7,640 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 97 pounds, or 1.29 per cent, from 7,543 pounds on Wednesday, 18 Feb.
Other gold grades posted similar increases.
