Gold prices in Egypt edged higher on Tuesday, following gains in global bullion markets and shifts in the U.S. dollar exchange rate, local traders said.
As of 5:30 p.m. local time (3:30 p.m. GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 6,285.75 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 1.1 per cent from 6,217.25 pounds on 10 Nov.
