Gold prices in Egypt slightly higher on Thursday, 12 Feb., 2026
Gold prices in Egypt rose slightly on Thursday, tracking gains in international bullion markets and movements in the local currency, according to official data.
By 17:06 p.m. Cairo time (15:06 GMT), the price of 24-carat gold inched up by 5.75 Egyptian pounds, or 0.07 per cent, to 7743 pounds per gram, compared with 7737.25 pounds at the close on Wednesday.
Prices for other gold grades recorded similar increases.
