Gold prices in Egypt rose on Tuesday as investors sought safe-haven assets amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East involving Israel, the United States, and Iran.
By 15:04 Cairo time (13:04 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 8,503 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 17.5 pounds, or 0.21 per cent, from Monday’s 8,485.5 pounds. Other grades recorded similar gains:
