Gold prices in Egypt rose on Thursday as investors continued to flock to safe-haven assets amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East involving Israel, the United States, and Iran.
By 3:01 p.m. Cairo time (1:01 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 8,600 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 74.5 pounds or 0.87 per cent from Wednesday’s 8,525.5 pounds. Other gold grades saw similar increases:
