Gold prices rise sharply on Monday

Spot gold prices increased on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 12:45 pm GMT by 0.83 per cent to $3,715.68 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,684.98 per ounce.

Meanwhile, US gold futures rose 1.18 per cent to $3,749.42 per ounce, up from Friday’s closing price of $3,705.8.
