Gold prices steady with slight gains on Tuesday

Spot gold prices increased on Monday, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 12:44 pm GMT by 0.08 per cent to $3,335.52 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,332.9.

Meanwhile, US gold futures inched up 0.06 per cent to $3,379.90 per ounce, up from Monday’s closing price of $3,378.
