Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for China’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2024 to 4.9 per cent from 4.7 per cent, citing the government’s recent stimulus measures.
In a research note to clients, Goldman Sachs stated that the government’s actions clearly indicate a shift towards cyclical policy management and a heightened focus on the economy.
