Goldman Sachs names Hofmann, Kossa for Germany, Austria
Goldman Sachs has appointed Jens Hofmann and Tibor Kossa as the new co-heads of its Germany and Austria investment banking division, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.
Hofmann, with the bank since 1994 and a managing director since 2004, will join Kossa, who has been with Goldman since 2018 and recently served as co-head of M&A for the same regions.
This follows the departure of former Germany chief Alexander Mayer to JP Morgan after 24 years at Goldman Sachs.
