IT experts emphasized that e-marketing will grew tenfold during the coming years, pointing out digital advertising on smart phones has become an urgent need nowadays, given that the growth of the digital community has imposed terms on both users and advertisers at the same time.
Stevet Herdart stated that the volume of digital advertising has reached $ 10 billion in 2010, expecting a tenfold increase on the international level up to 100 billion over the next eight years.
On the sidelines of the “Digital Marketing Arts” conference, he added that electronic marketing should have a budget separate from other advertising means. He added that people should not mix between online advertisements and advertising via television or radio or other.
On his part, Sherif Barakat, a representative of Samsung Egypt, said despite the fact that Egyptian market does not have leading companies working in the field of digital advertising, the arena is opened for all companies to cooperate with Google and Yahoo in launching companies to work in that sector.
He anticipated that the percentage of people using smart phones will amount to more than 90% by 2015, stating that the number of mobile applications will reach 200 billion in three years.
