Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis inaugurated this morning the Greek-Egyptian Business Forum in Cairo.
The Forum is being organised by the Egyptian Businessmen Association in cooperation with the Greek embassy in Cairo, with the participation of 40 Greek companies and a group of Egyptian entrepreneurs.
Mohammed Yusuf, Executive Director of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, said in a recent statement: “the Forum is being held in the context of a visit from a high-level Greek delegation led by Dimitris Kourkolas, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Chris Lazaris, Greece’s ambassador in Cairo.”
At the Forum, participants will discuss ways to boost cooperation between Egyptian entrepreneurs and Greek companies, with bilateral meetings held between firms in numerous sectors, not just the food industry, including the production and processing of fruit and vegetables, but also numerous other energy, industrial and logistics-related sectors.
