H. Kong’s jobless rate rises in early ’25

Hong Kong’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 3.2 per cent in December 2024 – February 2025 from 3.1 per cent in November 2024 – January 2025, as per a report from the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) on Tuesday.

The number of unemployed people (not seasonally adjusted) rose by approximately 1,600 from 110,100 in November 2024 – January 2025 to 111,700 in December 2024 – February 2025, the statement added.
