Hamas Says Will Set Up Joint Security Committee With Egypt

Sources in Hamas announced that the government in Gaza will set up a temporary security committee with Egypt tasked with increasing the security cooperation between the sides to investigate last week’s Sinai terror attack.

The sources said that they view the establishment of the committee as formal and unprecedented Egyptian recognition of Hamas and its government in Gaza.
