Warner Bros. is set to expand its Harry Potter Studio Tour, showing a preview of its new studio tour in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday, which will be launched next June.
Visitors of the Harry Potter Studio Tour will get to experience walking in the sets of Diagon Alley and Platform 9¾, and see the original props and customs used in the films.
“The studio chose Japan as it is one of its top markets, and has potential to serve as a gateway to the wider Asia Pacific region, after the U.S. and the UK, Japan is the third best area for the Harry Potter fandom,” said Jeff Nagler, president of worldwide studio operations at Warner Bros.
The new launch is set to attract fans from countries like China, South Korea and Australia, Nagler added.
The London Harry Potter, which is popular with U.S. tourists, has had over 17 million visitors since its opening in 2012.
