The Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, Eng. Hatem Saleh, has revealed that the problems of 432 stalled factories are being resolved through providing financing programs for them; pointing out that operating these factories will provide more than 17.000 job opportunities.
These statements came during his meeting with the Egyptian Minister of Manpower and Immigration, Khaled Al Azhry, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation- Dr Ashraf Al Araby and Minister of States for Youth, Dr Osama Yassin. The meeting discussed the mechanisms of the National Project for Training for Employment, which was announced by both Ministries of Industry and Manpower to fight the unemployment.
Saleh said further that the ministry is aiming at operating the stalled factories for providing real job opportunities; underlining the necessity of integrating the work and delivering these achievements to any coming government; pointing to solving the problems of 117 stalled factories out of 487 ones.
The Ministry of Manpower jointly with the Ministry of Industry have offered recently 20.000 job opportunities within the National Project for Training for Employment. Dr Khaled Al Azhary has announced lately that 114.000 job seekers applied for these jobs; affirming that the ministry still receives applications, paving the way for training them to be qualified for the available jobs.
