HCCD’s contracting, investment unit to deliver 8 flagships in 2019
Cairo Contracting and Real Estate Investment says it plans to deliver 8 major projects in different governorates next year, at a cost of 800 million Egyptian pounds ($44.7 million).
Cairo Contracting is an affiliate to Egyptian Holding Company for Construction and Development (HCCD), which is an agency under Ministry of Housing.
The works will include implementing a number of utilities, infrastructure, and social housing flagships, said the company’s chairman and managing director Nashaat Mohamed Morsy on Thursday.
Cairo Contracting is currently close to complete its works in a bunch of social housing projects in some governorates, at a cost approaching 260 million pounds, Morsy added.
“We are seeking to deliver two new utilities projects by early next year,” he said.
Also, Cairo Contracting is nearing to hand over five housing flagships at the beginning of 2019 in favour of the country’s state-owned El Nasr Housing and Development, he added.
Located in Maadi, the new five projects are to encompass establishing towers and residential buildings as well as utilities works, Morsy said.
