HDB-Egypt Aims to Open 6 New Branches by 2015

Housing and Development bank (HDB) is aiming to inaugurate from 4 to 6 branches by the next year so as to support its branches network which totalling 61 branches, Ashraf Mohamed El-Bassiouny , Managing Director’s Assistant of Retail at HDB revealed.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday, El-Bassiouny asserted that the bank is still finalising the necessary measures to open the new subsidiaries and to obtain Central Bank of Egypt (CBE)’s approval.

The bank is seeking to get CBE’s approval in order to launch 6 new personal banking products of by the beginning of 2015.

Moreover, Personal loans portfolio registered around EGP3.8 billion and the bank is aiming to increase it to EGP4 billion by the end of the current year.
