Japan’s second-largest car maker Honda Motor unveiled on Wednesday a new electric vehicle (EV) called the “Honda 0 Series” to be launched globally starting in 2026. The new series will be introduced first in the North American market.
The series name represents Honda’s determination to take on this challenge of developing new EV series by going back to the starting point of Honda as an automaker and creating completely new EVs from “zero,” the statement added.
Honda also disclosed two concept models at the CES trade show in Las Vegas that it hopes will help it reach its goal of having battery-powered and fuel-cell vehicles make up all of its new car sales by 2040.
