Egyptian lender Housing and Development Bank (HDB) posted 188 million Egyptian pounds in net profit in the first half, a 21 percent up from 155 million pounds in the same period a year earlier.
The HDB’s board of directors has endorsed Wednesday its business results indicators for the first half of 2014.
According to the business results indicators, HDB’s revenues dropped 4.5% to 550 million pounds, compared to 576 million pounds for the same period a year earlier.
