New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has received 2800 apartments of its share in Madinaty Project located in New Cairo, at a value of EGP 2 billion. Such apartments will be offered in an auction.
During his yesterday visit to Madinaty Project, Minister of Housing Dr.Tarek Wafiq stressed that the company responsible for implementing the project has to submit NUCA’s total share in the project at the specified date, in addition to delivering the apartments to the applicants according to the prices mentioned in the contracts and as per the schedule.
Moreover, the Minister has also checked the project’s maquette, the implementation process, the number of buildings that have been completed, and the services available there. He also inquired about the availability of drinking water in New Cairo. On his part, Eng. Kamal Fahmy, the Chairman of New Cairo Apparatus, emphasized that there are no serious complaints this year, pointing out that the pilot phase of New Cairo Water Plant will be launched by the beginning of 2013.
