The Ministry of Housing and New Urban Communities is considering extending the deadline of applying for “Bayt Al Watan” project, which is scheduled to be as of the end of this month.
Eng. Khaled Abbas, Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, stated that the ministry has received a number of requests from citizens living abroad to further extend the period of receiving the applications. He also noted that the number of the project’s applicants is increasing as long as the project is open.
He added that reservation of the plots located at New Menia City, New Cairo, and Sheihk Zayed has ended and the plots will be submitted to the applicants Next September.
It is worth mentioning that this is the fourth time for extending the period of applying for this project, which was launched by the Former Minister of Housing Fathy El–Baradei last March, with the aim of providing Egypt with hard currency during the current economic crisis.
