HSBC Launches New Branch in Egypt

Earlier this month, Ranjan Sen, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at HSBC Bank Egypt and Francesca McDonagh, Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management in MENA, celebrated the opening of Sun City; one of its newest branches in Cairo. 
In a spectacular evening that gathered HSBC Bank Egypt customers and employees, Andrew Long, Deputy Chairman and CEO of HSBC Bank Egypt, hosted the inauguration of Sun City Branch and welcomed the guests who witnessed another growth story for HSBC in Egypt.

The opening of Sun City branch comes as part of HSBC’s continuous investment in Egypt as one of the top 20 priority markets for HSBC Group and one of top 3 markets in the MENA Region. 
Earlier this year HSBC opened El Rehab branch and relocated El Tagamoo branch to a new site four times bigger. HSBC was the first bank in Egypt to introduce “HSBC Secure Key” that provides customers with an extra layer of security when accessing their accounts online through HSBC Internet Banking.
