Blaze Devours 40 Feddans In Om El-Saghir In Siwa Oasis

News reports said a huge fire broke out in one of the villages in South Siwa Oasis, El-Garah Garet on Monday. The fire have swept through 40 feddans of fruitful palm trees. 

 El-Garah Garet village (Also known as Om El-Saghir) is one of the smallest villages in Egypt accessible through the halfway point between Matruh and Siwa, has witnessed a huge fire today Monday for reasons still unknown. The armed forces have sent two fire trucks, in addition to 4 extinguishing units of civil protection in order to control the fire so as to not to be extended to other farm areas.
